Automation QA Engineer (offline)

The role will cover the spectrum of our Quality Assurance and Testing process. This includes working closely with the lead BA to ensure all requirements are correctly understood, test plans are documented and testing is conducted to meet agreed test criteria and requirements.

This is a hands-on role working with both our nearshore and onshore teams. Face-to-face time and meetings with client partners will be key aspects of the position.

The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, methodical professional with a strong focus on accuracy and delivery. You should be confident and versatile with good people skills and the vision to help foster and support a ‘quality’ culture across the business.

Essential Skills and Experiences:
* High-level knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools and terminology
* Expertise in testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practice
* In-depth experience with test automation and test automation tools
* Working knowledge or familiarity with JUnit, Cucumber, Gauge, Applitools
* Ability to write frameworks by yourself
* Good understanding of QA automation principles
* Experience with BDD methodology
* Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
* Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to handle complex, fluid situations in a measured way
* Ability to follow an iterative approach to quality delivery
* Dynamic and self-motivated mindset
* A naturally collaborative approach to work
* Good command of spoken and written English
