Senior Node.js Engineer (offline)

The initial focus is on oil&gas, solar, and wind energy.
Our Engineering Teams are focused on domain-driven design, organized into agile cross-functional teams composed of Engineering, Product & Design. Engineers are key contributors to the design & build of the core features & services that underpin our next-generation marketplace.

The team on our side: 3 Senior NodeJS Engineers, 3 Senior React Engineers, Account Manager.

Requirements:
— Proficiency with Node.js, Javascript, and datastore technologies (SQL and no-SQL)
— 5+ years of relevant development experience (full software life cycle — building product)
— Delivery focussed with solid exposure to SOA and/or Microservices environment
— Practical exposure of CI/CD pipelines for your production services
— Hands-on knowledge building on cloud service platforms (GCP, or AWS, Azure etc.)
— Experience partnering and collaborating with remote teams (across different time zones)
— Proven track record in learning new technologies and applying that learning quickly
— Upper-intermediate English level

Would be a plus:
— Familiar with containerisation and Kubernetes (a plus, but not required)
— Practical production knowledge of GraphQL (or RESTful alternatives)

Responsibilities:
— Designing, building, and maintaining Node.js based microservices running on Google Kubernetes Engine
— Working with Front End Engineer, Product Managers, and other Backend Engineers to refine features and define APIs and functionality needed in our backend services
— Collaborating with your teammates and other teams through code reviews, design documentation, and collaborative cross team forums
