Senior DevOps Engineer (offline)

Project Description
Our client Knock Rentals, an award-winning sales and marketing SaaS platform for residential property management companies, is looking to extend their engineering capacity with Zoolatech. We would like to hire a passionate, self-sufficient DevOps Engineer to build infrastructure, commit code, partner with other engineers, and execute on critical projects from Day 1. You will be contributing directly to the development and operations processes at Knock, directly impacting the customers who use Knock's multi-family front office suite.

Responsibilities
- Help building the infrastructure crucial to the development, testing and operations of Knock's platform
- Secure systems across the client's organization and ensure that Knock's policies and procedures follow industry best practices
- Improve the productivity and effectiveness of other engineers by building out better tooling and processes
- Work cross-departmentally to collaborate on projects in order to achieve the client's goals
- Contribute to a culture of technical excellence across the engineering organization

Skills Required
- 5+ years of DevOps experience
- 3+ years of Ruby or Python coding experience
- Experience with AWS configuration
- Experience using configuration management and provisioning tools, such as Terraform, Puppet, Salt, Ansible, or Chef
- Experience using continuous integration/deployment platforms, such as Jenkins
- Experience with monitoring and alerting using New Relic, PagerDuty, or Opsgenie
- Experience using, maintaining and administering distributed source control tools, such as Git and GitHub
- Experience with Docker and running containers on AWS
- Experience with scaling, auto-scaling, and resource optimization
- Strong attention to detail, performance and quality
