Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer (Online Marketing Platform) (offline)

The platform is going through major changes in strategy, we are planning to move from monolithic architecture to multitenant application. As a DevOps Engineer you will be able to take part in this transformation and suggest improvements, lead the process from configuration management perspective, and cooperate closely with project architect.

The customer is a Swedish startup in AdTech and Media domain. It is interesting to work with them because of their high involvement and care for product success. They value original and creative ideas and provide fast feedback.

Project
The platform provides easy and cost-effective management of relations with influencers and launching campaigns with only few simple steps to follow. It solves a problem of business processes optimization and automation in addition to scaling ads campaigns to reach higher results, collect statistics, and get inspired for further improvements.

Users of the solution are brands, influencer and brand agencies, influencers themselves. It is a marketplace that connects all stakeholders working on launching killer ads campaigns. On one hand, it helps brands and agencies to spend less time and money on marketing, and on the other hand, influencers can easily find work and collaborate with renowned brands.

The platform is hosted on Microsoft Azure, Jenkins is now used as a primary CI/CD tool. On a short-term landscape, we plan to move all our development processes to one core product – Azure DevOps, this way making the process smooth for the whole team.

The solution uses .NET Framework, Angular JS. It has a lot of interesting integrations – social media, payment solutions, etc.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud provider
Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Experience with distributed version control systems (Git)
Experience with task automation and configuration management frameworks (Bash, PowerShell)
Experience setting up vulnerability monitoring dashboards (Zabbix, Azure Monitor, and AppInsights)
Systems administrator-level command-line experience with Windows, Linus, MS SQL Server
Expert in processes setup, costs optimization, willingness to take part in technical roadmap planning
Upper-Intermediate level of English

Responsibilities:

Lead the DevOps team (Middle and Junior engineers), supervise the process, help TL and Architect with tasks distribution
Take part in strategical and technical roadmap planning, contribute to product, and process improvements
Identify and implement tools to improve existing environments (CI/CD, monitoring, logging)
Work closely with the members of the development team to automate and streamline operations and processes
Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring\, and operations
Monitor applications for anomalies and propose solutions to improve availability and performance
Support continuous code deployment while maintaining quality, compliance, and security across our platform
Participate fully in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to ensure a smooth and efficient development process
