QA Engineer (manual+automation) (offline)

IntellectEU is working on a product for the Pharma industry in the USA.  We are building a DWH + BI system to monitor the drugs flow in the US.

The team consists of domain experts, experienced DWH, BI engineers, Business Analyst, DevOps and QA Engineer. The product development process has an agile flavour and is tracked using Jira. The team works in two-weeks sprints with a clear goal set for each of the sprints. The product itself is running on AWS.


We are looking for a general QA engineer who is capable to perform manual as well as automation tasks. The expected proportion of manual / automation is 50/50%.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in QA Engineering
• Knowledge of test types and methods of organising them as part of the process for testing 
• Experience in automated testing  (Python ) and ability to work with automation tools i.e. PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium etc.
• Experience in testing Web services
• Familiar with HTTP/HTTPS
• Basic Bash scripting skills
• Database knowledge (PostgreSQL)
• English spoken Intermediate level or higher
• Strong understanding of development and testing processes
• Comprehensive approach to testing (manual and automation)

• Analytical thinking

• Excellent communication skills

Would be a plus:

• Experience in AWS cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with Big Data concepts


What you will do:

• Analysis of system requirements and producing testing specifications from systems requirements
• Estimation of testing efforts of the project
• Communication with internal development teams regarding requirements clarifications and quality expectations
• Design, creation and analyzing test documentation (test plans, test cases, test specifications, user guides, checklists, bug reports)
• Support test documentation
• Automation of regression and functional testing (Robot Framework/Selenium)
• Test data and test environment preparations
