Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer (FinTech USA Startup) (offline) $4500-6800

Our Client, a FinTech company is now looking for a Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer to join their engineering team.

About your role:
In this role, you will be an integral part of developing processes to facilitate scaling the company's existing infrastructure, which will continue to support the mission to improve trust in home construction. In addition, you will work closely with different stakeholders to develop solutions for continuous delivery processes. As an ideal candidate, you like solving problems and working as part of a small but mighty team to produce frictionless continuous delivery processes and infrastructure. You are energized by clearly seeing how what you do impacts development processes and infrastructure that support the company's business every day. While you are comfortable working by yourself, you love working as part of a team and have strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:
-Run the infrastructure with Terraform and Github Actions.
-Make monitoring and alerting on symptoms and not on outages.
-Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack
-Think about systems – edge cases, failure modes, behaviors, specific implementations.
-Collaborate across engineering to understand their pain points, creating full-stack applications and tools, enabling teams to own what they build with a consistent self-service experience for building, deploying, and operating code in production.
-Build, secure, maintain, and monitor infrastructure that the production application and business analytics system run on. Leverage infrastructure as code practices.
-Improve the deployment process to make it as boring as possible.

Requirements:
-At least 4+ years of professional SRE/DevOps experience
-Strong experience with Python and Bash
-Experience with AWS Cloud Platform
-Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform
-Experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Github Actions
-Good understanding of DevOps movement and experience
-Good understanding of Agile development and experience with tools to support it
-Ability to intercept with core US working hours
-English - Upper Intermediate+
