.NET/C# Developer (offline)

BETER is a rapidly growing product company. We create competitive content supplemented with analytics. For more than 4 years we have been organizing sports tournaments, broadcasts, and developing our own sports community. We hold 32+ thousand events per month in esports and classic sports. BETER products are known all over the world — our content is represented in 150+ countries with an audience of 35+ million viewers. Our current partners are the world’s most famous trading giants

Responsibilities:
- Writing code in C# in the implementation of tools and products on a daily basis;
- Writing unit tests for functionality;
- Maintaining software development practices, such as coding conventions, code reviews;
- Troubleshooting, finding out how to prevent them in development;
- Participation in team meetings: stand-ups, grooming and task assessment, planning, retro, etc.

Requirements:
- Write high-quality C# code (.NET Core, ASP.NET Core), understand OOP and SOLID concepts, understand design patterns;
- Have expertise in the .NET ecosystem: tools, libraries, frameworks;
- Experience in RDBMS/NoSQL: knowledge of the principles of operation of engines, ability to profile queries, understanding of the logic of indexes;
- Loyalty to DevOps practices and experience in their application: automation of development tools and quality assurance, monitoring, tracing and debugging.

- 8-hour workday. We’d like you to be in touch from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, when to start your workday — is up to you.

About our hiring process:
- Acquaintance with BETER (20 minutes): after applying, your CV goes to our recruitment team. If there’s a good fit, our recruiter will schedule a short call in Google Meet to tell you more about us.
- Interview with the Hiring team (1,5 hours): time for a deep dive into job and case solving.
- Offer letter: we send you an offer and passionately wait for you to join our team :)

Your first steps:
On your first day, you’ll go through BETER learning system to know all about the company and how it works from the inside.
By the end of the 1st week, you’ll have your probation period goals set to gather with your manager. He will guide you into the project and conduct regular 1on1 meetings to support you during the period of adaptation and after.
