DevOps Engineer (AWS) (offline)

Kubernetes: EKS, KOPS; IaC: Terraform;
Deployment tools and languages: Chef, Ansible, Python, Ruby, Groovy;
CI/CD tools: Jenkins (+k8s slaves, + jenkins pipeline library), CodeBuild;
Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, PagerDuty;
Logs: ELK.

About the role:
As a DevOps team member, you will design, install, maintain and administer technology infrastructure while providing recommendations for incorporating and supporting new technologies.

You will:
Support and improve our tools for continuous building, automated testing, and release management;
Work closely with Development, Quality Engineering and Operations teams to identify, prioritize, and drive issues to resolution quickly;
Improve the effectiveness of our build and release cycle through the development, tracking, and reporting of metrics;
Own, manage and improve our release process with a focus on scale and efficiency;
Build and maintain tools needed during release pushes;
Automate repetitious tasks with scripting languages such as Python/Ruby/Bash.

You:
Have 3+ years experience with software engineering, release engineering, and/or configuration management;
Have a strong knowledge of AWS;
Have expertise in a variety of build, release, and management packages;
Have expertise in Docker;
Have expertise in Terraform;
Deeply understand the CI/CD process;
Have experience in building Java and Node.JS applications;
Know Unix/Linux, with some Mac experience;
Have the opportunity to debug and improve Groovy, Ruby, Python scripts.

Will be a plus:
Knowledge of Postgres databases;
Experience with monitoring (DataDog, AWS CloudWatch).
