Back-End Engineer (offline)

We are a product company and we are looking for a Back-End Engineer in Kyiv to join our fantastic team, building a totally new Hybrid Event platform.

REQUIREMENTS:
- WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Be part of R&D, running the software development methodologies and processes, from designing all the way to the implementation and monitoring
- Contribute your analytical abilities and enthusiasm for research and provide solutions to challenging problems.
- Focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability
- Improve the architecture, design, and implementation of the applications
- Enthusiastically research new methods for doing things
- Provide solutions to challenging problems


WHAT YOU HAVE:

- 2+ years of experience in Java/Kotlin or similar
- Working with databases such as MySQL
- You feel at home with the Spring framework
- Built microservices architecture for large scale
- Have a deep understanding of security risks
- Familiarity with the Linux
- Working with AWS infrastructure: EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, etc.
- Experience with writing tests
- Upper-Intermediate level of English - both written and verbal


WHAT WOULD BE A BONUS:

- Experience with Elasticsearch
- Experience with Redis
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Computer science degree from a leading institute
