Senior Automation QA Engineer for a healthcare startup (offline) $3500-6000

Position description
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team full-time. You will support testing complex mobile applications and SDKs:

- Work on defining our test and release process for our mobile applications
- Work closely with cross-functional peers to develop manual and automated test suites for existing & new features.
- Build out our automated release testing framework for our mobile SDKs that customers integrate into their applications.
- Interface with customers on SDK integrations, helping them integrate our SDK into their applications
- Ensure comprehensive documentation is available for customers integrating our SDKs
- Work with internal partners to make sure our customer experience is as self-service as possible.
- Act as the first point of contact for mobile-related customer issues, diagnosing issues and building out tests to cover any reported bugs if applicable
- Test new products, product features, and bug fixes in the functional areas

Our mobile platform consists of two key components: a mobile framework for passive sensing of user behaviour and a mobile framework for delivering personalized digital interventions. You will be tasked with testing the performance of our sensing framework and applications, testing battery drain, data accuracy, and many other metrics (see below). Some manual testing will also be present.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience as a Manual or Automated Test Engineer;
- Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and processes;
- Knowledge of best practices for SDK and app testing;
- Strong experience in the creation of test processes from scratch;
- You're a self-starter, fast but thoughtful, comfortable with short iteration cycles and ambitious deadlines;
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive. Pushing the limits of what has been done before sounds fun for you;
- Upper-intermediate English (ability to freely communicate and participate in conversations with English-speaking team members).

Nice to have

- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services & Python;
- Experience in testing automation tools;
- Hands-on experience with testing HIPAA-compliant products;
