Middle System Engineer (offline)

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Diagnose technical field issues down to the root cause
• Establish guidelines and methods for the installation and management of the host computer operating systems, disk arrays and other components, develops and documents IT infrastructure operating procedures.
• Ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical host computer resources
• Maintain backup and redundancy strategies

Skills / Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience building, maintaining and supporting Microsoft technologies and related platforms Active Directory, Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Exchange 2013/2016
• Troubleshoot and configure DAG, CAS Arrays within a clustered environment
• Deep understanding of virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V)
• Familiarity and good understanding of core infrastructure such as SAN, DELL and HP servers, Active Directory topology, Exchange, vSphere, Veeam and associated platforms, ITIL processes preferred
• Advanced knowledge of e-mail and spam troubleshooting
• Proven experience with PowerShell
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem solving skills required with the ability to make recommendations based on findings and best practices
• Experience with monitoring tools
• Assist in implementing message archiving solutions
• Strong leadership skills to effectively mentor and lead junior level personnel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
