Senior C#/.NET Developer (Azure, IoT) (offline) $3800-4800

We’re opening the position of Senior C#/.NET Developer with Azure to join the existing team of our customers from Switzerland. The company is one of the world’s leading providers of insurance services, has a wide range of own, tailor-made software products to cover all lines of business and enable forecast and assess risk-taking upon which enterprise and progress in society depend.

We are looking for a person with a proven record as a Back-end Developer who will bring their own ideas to the product. You will be involved in the development of proprietary geo risk tools for the assessments of natural hazard exposures worldwide.

Responsibilities:
Developing key elements of the system
Researching and using new technologies to find more efficient ways to solve specific issues
Working closely with Solution Architects and take part in the decision-making process in architecture design, solution development, and code review
Supporting architects in writing technical documentations and participation in scrum activities

Requirements:
5+ years of experience with C# development
Good knowledge of app services and Azure functions
Understanding of SQL database, time series insights
Some experience with API management
Basic skills in DevOps (e,g, building pipelines)
A basic pragmatic feeling for quality
English level — Upper-Intermediate or higher

Will be a plus:
Iot hub, device twins (start now with IoT hub)
Alexa and Google Assistant knowledge, whole certification process, skill programming, Google and Amazon development environment.
Any IoT Azure services like stream analytics
Simple UI development knowledge, will be a plus
