Job brief

We are looking for a software developer to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various software products and projects for different customers. The developer responsibilities include designing and implementing development platforms of distributed systems involving multi-computer communication, system configuration and software deployment, continuous integration and system testing, visualization and many more things, all of this deployed on different hardware and hardware in the loop. You will as software developer define and maintain the product software architecture and be responsible for the building blocks within. We also expect you to be on top of technology evolution and provide new ideas to continuously improve the product and the processes.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience using software development concepts and work well in a team.

The teams are in a very innovative culture, and you will have the possibility to gain a broad system knowledge within the products while supporting teams implementing proof-of-concept features which later might end up on the market.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
- Write effective, scalable code
- Improve functionality of existing systems
- Implement security and data protection solutions
- Assess and prioritize feature requests
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code

Projects

- automotive projects (e.g. self-driving vehicles (AD), active safety systems (ADAS), and electrification technology)
- telematics
- cloud platform projects

Tasks

Requirements

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
- Be highly dedicated and skilled software developer
- Programming experience in C++ and Python
- Software development within Linux environment (drivers, open source tools, compiling software, CMake)
- Familiarity with software development concepts (version control, code review, continuous integration)
- Experience in writing interface software or using manufacturer API to develop software
- Team spirit and you love to share experience and involve others in finding the right solution
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and wants to understand and create the broader picture
- Good problem-solving skills
