Senior React developer (offline)

Comberry builds multimedia platforms and experiences for industrial corporations. Our tools and applications enable global enterprises to create and use live events, live conferences, streaming, mini-games or simulators to reach out to their customers in a unique and entertaining way from anywhere in the world.

You’ll have a direct impact on how to turn boring presentations into engaging user experiences. With an endless stream of ideas on how we can use moving media to present, communicate and sell in new and better ways, we are looking for an individual who is excited about building products users will love. Join us to leverage your frontend JavaScript and UI expertise and guide our frontend team to create the next big hit!

People who do well on this team are self-motivated engineers with a passion for building creative, performant, and modern solutions. We look for individuals with deep knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML who are comfortable writing custom JavaScript but also know when to apply off-the-shelf solutions for the problem. We value people who are passionate about user experience and have an eye for improving the UI. We currently work with TypeScript and React, however, the ability to adapt to changing technology is an important strength.

What you will work on

- Extend our live conferencing UI with additional features for users and moderators
- Improve meeting scheduling and live chat capabilities
- Creating an admin panel that will show user statistics and gives additional control over content publishing
- Guide and mentor other frontend team members
- Suggest and enforce coding best practices
- Ensure that staging main branch is "releasable" at all times

About you/You're good at

- Building single-page applications in React/TypeScript
- Building high-impact, well-performing user experiences
- Being independent, proactive, and able to deliver production-ready code with minimal guidance
- Great communication and collaboration working cross-functionally with other engineers, product managers, and designers
- The English language

Extra awesome (but not required)

- Experience with the Vonage API or similar live call or streaming services
- Experience working with web sockets

Skillsquare is an IT hub and co-working space in Lviv that hosts several tech companies from USA and Germany. We have a charming office in the heart of Lviv with awesome people working in it. We mainly work on an outstaffing-basis with product companies, tech companies, and cool startups that are based in the US or Germany. You will work directly with our partner company and be integrated with their team while we will handle any HR matters. Most of our job offers are remote.
