Senior .net Developer in a brand new team! (offline)

Our client was founded in 2007 as an issuer of investment products by 4 industry experts, and as of today it is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. It has been growing significantly along with investing heavily into an IT platform which was built from scratch to bring it to its present market leading status.

Responsabilités
 You will transform approx. 30 trading applications with fat clients from Excel/VBA by moving most of the business logic to a C# backend and re-implementing the frontend with very lightweight technologies
 Contribute to a high-profile migration and transformation project over several years at the core of the business
 Working directly with Traders, Sales Experts and Product Designers, you design and implement tactical software solutions that boost their daily business activities
 You build real trust relationships with your colleagues/clients and you pro-actively reach out to them to propose improvements to existing solutions

Qualifications
Required:
 Strong professional experience in developing backend services with C#/.NET
 Good Knowledge in React or Angular
 Willingness to look at VBA and Excel to understand the existing code and migrate its functionality to new technologies without interrupting the trading activities
 Enough experience in SQL to implement simple SQL database management operations
 Pragmatic, solution-driven personality with excellent communication skills
 Fascinated by the – sometimes "crazy" but thrilling – trading world
 Good spoken and written English language
 Understanding of Agile methodologies

 Experience with PyXLL and Excel

1. Архитектура какого типа есть и какая планируется? Everything is up to us.

2. Какой состав команды на стороне клиента, от кого будут спускаться задачи?
На стороне клиента будут несколько разработчиков больше для передачи знаний. Команда будет наша, Украинская. Требования будут идти в основном от трейдеров и деливери менеджера.

3. Какой стек проекта? .NET, On premise, Font-end: React or Angular. The database is: Oracle/SQL Server, A lot of API integration with stock exchanges.

4. Что с тестированием? Начинать без тестеров. Потом, конечно же, будут.

5. Сколько лет проекту? c 2007 года, но текущий проект будет reverse engineering с нуля.

6. Что значит что их 30 «30 trading applications»? - сейчас это отдельные "микросервисы" написанные на VBA. Нужно будет самим принять решение как мы их хотим видеть. То ли это одно приложение с микросервисами, то ли отдельные приложения.

7. Это веб или есть мобильная версия? Web приложение. Мобильные пока не обсуждаются.

8 .Какие будут таск или тайм трекеры? - No Таймтрекеры, Таск трекинг - Jira.

9. По какой методологии работают? Все будет настраиваться нами.

10. Какое распределение задачь на фронте и бэке? - 20/80

11. Business trips - no (maybe after covid).
