Senior Node.js(TS) Engineer (offline) $5000-7000

We are building a mobile-focused service for grocery planning and shopping, disrupting the food-tech scene.

Founded in April 2021, it took us 5 weeks to build a fully functional MVP, which lead to amazing early traction and super happy users. Having started by serving only one district in central Stockholm, we are now on a rapid expansion journey to introduce the service all across Europe.

Today we have a Flutter App, integrated with Node.js (Typescript) APIs and powered by the Firebase products. Behind the Node.js middle layer we have a number of SaaS solutions integrated into our stack. We see value in maintaining a microservice architecture with good boundaries, allowing us to quickly add in components that fit our needs today, and later replace them when our needs change.

Currently we are five senior engineers in the tech team, and we're looking for new members to join us and focus on the back-end and integrations. You will play a key role in our back-end strategy, drive architectural decisions, and be involved in product development from A-Z.

Requirements:
- Effortless English
- Strong grasp on CS fundamentals
- 3+ years of commercial software development experience (at least 2 years with Node.js)
- Experience building products from scratch
- Affinity for unit testing
- Being open to imperfection and feeling ok to fail fast and move on

Bonus (nice-to-haves):
- Familiarity with Firebase
- Familiarity with Serverless architecture
- Experience with deploying, monitoring, testing, and debugging
- Knowledge of multiple programming languages
