QA Engineer (offline)

Your experience:
1+ years of experience in manual testing on web and/or mobile projects;
Strong knowledge and understanding of software testing concepts and practices,
Understanding of test design techniques;
Strong experience in functional and regression testing;
Experience in test documentation creating and maintaining
- test suites / cases / runs
- test cases
- checklists
- bug reports
- test, stability, release reports

Soft skills:
- You know how the Jedi’s to-do list technics
- You put priorities on own tasks and doing them one-by-one
- You subscribed to at least 5 different professional blogs
- You have a goal for next 1-2 years related to QA career
- You follow a “15 minutes rule”. Try to google and investigate by yourself for about 15 mins, if no success - ask for help.

Nice to have / willing to learn:
Experience in working with Chrome developer tools & Xcode & Android Studio;
Good understanding of client-server architecture
different transport protocols like: HTTP, SOCKETS, GraphQL;
different data structures: JSON, YAML, XML
data types: bool, string, int, enum..etc.
basic knowledge of SQL;


Postman:
Experience in testing of REST APIs in Postman
Request / Response validation;
Setup different environments dev / stage / prod
Proxies like Charles or MitmProxy
Setup proxy on iPhone, android, web browser
Traffic interception between device and server
Replacing real service response on mocks
Remote logs like Rollbar / Crashlytics / Bugsee
Identifying user session
Understanding crash log files

Project tools like Confluence, Jira, XRay:
Test management tools like XRay / Zephyr or TestRail
Jira as bug & task tracking tool
Confluence & Google Docs as one single source of information
