Java developer /Senior/ middle (offline)

FDI is a group of IT companies from Ukraine, which develop analytical systems and business applications. Created by practicing professionals from banking sector in 2011 as a system integrator for automating activities of financial institutions, the company has gained a considerable experience in creating software and developed its own data array management platform. FDI specialists are working on more than a dozen city management automation projects. Company participates in tenders for developing software for cities all over Ukraine.

We are looking for:

Proactive team player who is ready to face challenging tasks to develop the product from the scratch

Required skills:

• 5(2)+ years of experience in software engineering;
• Experience in designing and development of large-scale, high-load software solutions;
• Advanced knowledge of the Java 8/10;
• Hands-on experience in Spring (MVC, Data, AOP, Security, Boot, Cloud);
• Good knowledge of ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA);
• Experience in developing web services (REST) and using both relational and non-relational data stores;
• Experience in developing Unit test cases in JUnit or other unit testing frameworks (Mockito, EasyMock, PowerMock);
• Deep understanding of building/maintaining continuous integration and deployment environments (Jenkins, GIT, Grunt, SVN etc.)

As a plus:

• Experience working with Big Data;
• Working with cutting-edge technologies (Cloud, MIcroservices, Virtualization, Orchestration);
• Understand how Kafka messaging is working;
• Knowledge or experience in UML.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of new functionality;
• Collaborate with other developers;
• Share knowledge with other team member in your areas of expertise.
