Back End (PHP) Developer (offline) $1500-3000

What you will work on:
Design and develop REST APIs for our in-house software, like: providing information for data tables, charts, dashboards, reports; Admin panels functionality, APIs to use our proprietary Amazon Advertising tools
Design and develop communication channels and APIs for event-driven operations, microservices communication
Solve business logic layer problems and implement solutions in code
Write efficient SQL queries for data aggregation, filtering, sorting to display it on data tables, charts, dashboards, reports
Maintain existing SQL queries
Contribute to architectural design discussions
Develop new and improve existing API client libraries (SDKs) to communicate with external (3rd party) services
Suggest and integrate new back end technologies to improve development process and application architecture

Required Skills and Experience:
3+ years of PHP development experience
2+ years with Laravel 5+ experience
Strong knowledge of PHP, understanding of OOP principles
Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL)
Experience in working with Eloquent ORM
Familiarity with event-driven architecture principles, microservices
Basic knowledge of Unix, Git, Docker, docker-compose
Experienced in reviewing and debugging code
Analytical skills
Research and problem solving skills
Able to work without supervision while staying on task


Will be a plus:
Knowledge of or experience in working with column-oriented databases (especially ClickHouse)
Experience with Message brokers (RabbitMQ particularly)
Experience in integrating third-party APIs into the project
Experience in working with Big data
Experience with Agile / Scrum environment and issue management software, such as Jira or YouTrack
