Database administrator (offline)

Cynet is looking for an experienced DevOps DBA who has a broad knowledge and experience with various databases that will help to design and maintain Cynet’s data and ensure its availability, scale, and growth.
You will join an innovative, high-performance team and work with cutting-edge technologies, in a dynamic and agile environment.

Responsibilities
● Design and improve Cynet’s data infrastructure.
● Develop and adopt new tools to improve and optimize data store performance, business logic issues.
● Collaborate with developers to ensure services’ data efficiency and reliability, best practices.
● Research and suggest new data store products.
● 5+ years managing databases, such as Relational- MySql/MariaDB and NoSQLElasticSearch, Redis, ClickHouse.
● Understanding of core data structure and database concepts.
● Proved experience in monitoring, optimizing, and problem-solving of
production-grade databases
● Experience with ETL tools and processes.
● Extensive experience with SQL programming and SQL performance enhancements of large-scale DBS (5+ years).
● 2+ years of experience as DevOps, working in a Linux environment and writing scripts in Python/Go.
● Production experience with Public Cloud & container orchestration systems.
● Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field

Advantages
● Experience with event streaming and messaging platforms such as Pulsar, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
● Knowledge of CI/CD with Jenkins
● Knowledge of Kubernetes
