Full Stack Java Engineer (offline)

The PaaS platform is built using microservices architecture and deployed to Amazon EKS. The platform API is designed according to latest OpenAPI specification. The main challenge is to integrate and β€œstandardize” multiple providers with custom integration interfaces and custom data flows.

The project execution is based on Agile model with rapidly changing situation and priorities. You should be prepared to work in fast-changing environment with intensive communication to teammates. Project collaboration and communication are established via GitLab, Jira, Confluence and Slack.

Duties and Responsibilities
● Technical and architectural design of the product for cloud environment
● Development of core product components according to the specification
● Research and analysis of travel data providers and their integration to the platform
● Leading the development team, mentoring less senior team members
● Regular communication to business development team, syncing project priorities
● Suggesting and implementing improvements to the product and process.

Skills and Qualifications
● B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in computer science, applied math or similar
● 7+ year experience in commercial software development
● Strong expertise in Java EE and AWS platforms
● Practical experience in Microservices, Hibernate, Spring and Angular
● SQL and NoSQL database knowledge
● Experience in designing and programming WS based APIs
● Good understating of Agile software development
● Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, multi-tasking capacity
● Excellent English communication and mentoring skills.
