The Founder
Growth Shop’s founder, Mark Patchett, brings a decade-plus of experience rapidly scaling businesses with globally distributed teams. Most recently he led growth for Nectar Sleep (Resident Home) in the USA, throughout that 2 year period the business grew from $10m RR to $300m (landing the #1 fastest growing consumer brand and 211 largest by revenue in the USA). Prior to that was Trouva.com as Marketing Director taking sales from a handful a day to be the top 5 fastest growing in Europe, before that was CRO for The BBC, The Economist, Channel 4, and prior to that he built ecom strategies for over 250 SMEs.

What you’ll do:
- Create, update and operate test scripts that cover the core functionality of our sites.
- You’ll make sure the same errors don’t arise again by ensuring our QA processes are in place
- You’ll use relevant tools to ensure all front end changes appear correctly across browser and device configurations
- You’ll ensure that 404/500 errors are spotted early and the right mechanisms put in place to stop it from happening again
- Work with Product, Design, and CRO on all new projects and ensure test cases cover any new functionality
- Create automated scripts to check for errors as part of the development build process


Your experience and skills:
1. 3-5 years+ experience working in a QA environment improving the quality of websites or e-commerce shops
2. Excellent knowledge of BrowserStack or similar tools
3. Good knowledge of Woocommerce, Shopify, or Magento
4. Can demonstrate success as part of your experience within QA
5. Workable knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
6. Desirable - knowledge of Selenium, Cucumber, or other testing platforms
7. You can operate with multiple time zones. You’re not a 9-5 type
