Android Developer (offline)

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
BigBlock is looking for Android Developer to join the our team on a full-time basis. We're looking for a strong Android developer who has a passion for creating word class products, to join our awesome mobile team. This is a high profile role with the opportunity to make a significant impact across the business. You will be part of the Scrum Development team and work on our native Android applications. You will work on highly visible technical features, help your teammates to solve complex problems, and work closely with Product & Design Teams.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in Android development;
- Good programming skills in Java;
- Practical experience of software development using Android SDK;
- Deep understanding of OOP principles, Design Patterns, Clean
Architecture;
- Experience using Google Play Services and 3rd party libraries;
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle;
- Good Understanding of Android development practices (common
problems and solutions);
- Understanding of client-server architecture;
- Experienced with relational databases;
- Experience in deploying apps to the Play Store;
- Experience with Git;
- Intermediate + level of English.

NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with Figma, Zeplin;
- Experience with creating custom views;
- Experiment with new technologies in your spare time;
- Don’t hesitate to ask a lot of questions;
- Github/bitbucket account with own code we could check;

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing and maintaining our Android apps;
- Improve existing features using modern tools and libraries;
- Working with the server team and participating in API development.
