New Wave Devs is looking for a Javascript developer (offline)

About New Wave Devs:
We are a community of specialists in UI/UX and several backend and frontend technologies. We are based in Kyiv, Ukraine. The company consists of 20+ employees from CIS countries. We work with StartUps, as with mid and big-sized companies. Our clients are from such countries, as United States, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Canada, etc.

About the project:
We have a relatively complex web app used by commercial airline dispatchers, written in Angular as FE (Admin dashboard, dispatcher dashboard, map box maps, custom UI), and a REST API server written in Node.js/ MongoDB. We are looking for an expert Angular/ Node.js developer to take ownership of this code and move it to the next level.

Your primary focus will be the development of the next version of the web app and server. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products are essential.

Responsibilities
— Design and build Angular SPA;
— Implement UI based on Zeplin UX requirements;
— Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application;
— Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features;
— Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs;
— commitment to schedule and deadlines;
— Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Skills
- Proficient with Angular 8+, Node.js, Express, MongoDB;
- Some knowledge in AWS / serverless lambda a big plus;
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs / OpenAPI / Swagger;
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards;
- Knack for benchmarking and optimization;
- Proficient understanding of git / Github.
