Technical Support Engineer (English speaking) (offline)

Job responsibilities:

Providing L1-L3 technical support to users and partners via email, web conferencing, and the phone

Analyzing, clarifying, and resolving customer queries

Investigating technical issues, troubleshooting and diagnosing root causes

Researching, deploying, and configuring different environments with specific software and hardware parts

Composing knowledge base articles and technical documentation

Collaborating with other teams

Required:

Fluent English (both spoken and written) and the ability to communicate effectively in English via both phone and e-mail

Understanding and basic knowledge of storage, networking, and virtualization technologies

Experience with administrating/maintaining Windows or Linux based environments

Confident communication skills - work with globally distributed customers

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive and innovative thinking (masters degree in googling)

Preferred:

Experience in providing support to customers on their live production systems

Experience in working with storage and backup infrastructures

Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V
