Strong Junior DevOps (offline)

We are looking for a Junior DevOps who is able to multitask, demonstrate flexibility, and deal with many different situations at a time.

Requirements:
— Strong 1-2 years of commercial experience as a Junior Software Engineer
— Intermediate English (written/spoken)
— Understanding of web development
— Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
— Team player
— Good organisational and time-management skills
— Great interpersonal and communication skills

Skills:
— Understanding and experience with cloud computing platforms, at least one of AWS, Azure, GCP
— Understanding of maintenance of CI/CD systems
— Understanding of DB performance profiling and tuning, i.e. MongoDB, PostgreSQL
— Understanding of Linux-based infrastructures
— Networking: understanding of OSI model
— Knowledge of OS and computer's architecture fundamentals(threads VS processes, filesystems, memory management, FHS)
— Bash ,other scripting languages(Python, JavaScript, Perl, etc.)

Nice to Have:
— Practical experience with containerisation platforms: Docker, Kubernetes
— Experience with systems health and security monitoring
— Orchestration tools
— Experience with message brokers(ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)
— Knowledge of Node.js internal mechanisms(GC, event loop, etc.)

Duties and responsibilities:
— Documentation: Writes specifications and documentation for the server-side features.
— Development: Develop code, build, install, configure, and maintain IT solutions.
— Testing: Test code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline and minimise errors.
— Deployment: Use configuration management software to automatically deploy updates and fixes into the production environment.
— Maintenance and troubleshooting: Perform routine application maintenance to ensure the production environment runs smoothly
— Develops maintenance requirements and procedures.
