Senior / Lead Python/Django Developer (offline) $2000-4000

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work in close contact with team members and project stakeholders on the client’s site
- Take an active role in architectural discussions
- Cover code with a sufficient number of tests
- Participate in design, development, delivery, and support tools/dashboards to gather metrics and data using Python
- Constantly improve software quality (evaluate and incorporate new libraries, tools, and technologies; code reviews; refactoring; testing; etc.)
- Analyze and improve application performance
- Search for simple and robust solutions to complex tasks
- Work in an Agile methodology environment where innovation, teamwork, and creativity are the keys to success
- Investigate how to stop/pause/hibernate specific cloud resources in AWS, and implement if possible
- Propagate parameters or secretes (like token) from cloud/DevOps infrastructure through API to clients
- Implement new data table in RDS, make schema/data migration, and start using it in multiple services
- Write a module to create, delete, update, start and stop operations in existing executors, for new cloud resources (for example, Amazon ElasticCache or CloudFront).


REQUIREMENTS:
-3+ years of commercial Python development/ 3+ years of experience with MVC backend development in Python
-Strong OOD skills
-Experience with Python web frameworks (Django, Flask or similar)
-Experience with Python ORM (Django ORM, SQLAlchemy or similar)
-Experience with PostgreSQL
-Experience with Docker
-Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies
-Upper-intermediate level of English
-Experience with one of the cloud providers: AWS, GCP, Azure
-Microservices architecture understanding
