Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math-related field or equivalent work experience
5+ years in a project or program management, product delivery, scrum master, or similar role(s)
Experience in Digital Banking, FinTech or Financial Services
Experience with hands-on technical / development experience.
Highly motivated, with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to operate with independence and autonomy
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Iterative, Agile/Scrum)
Demonstrated ability to lead teams in the delivery of technical solutions on-time and at scale
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple priorities, and effectively prioritize them
Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Able to explain project risks and issues and relate IT-related concepts clearly and concisely to various peers and leadership layers.
Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and other related project management and communications tools
Agile Certified (CSM, PMI-ACP, etc.), PMP Certified, or equivalent
Work and lead cross-functional project teams to drive the overall planning, execution, and delivery, from inception to completion.
Plan, develop and execute schedules to ensure timely completion of project deadlines and milestones.
Mobilize, manage and lead all aspects of the delivery life-cycle, cadence, release plan, and sprint schedule.
Operate between teams to assess dependencies and gaps to proactively remove blockers.
Communicate progress, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, identify, assess, track and mitigate issues/risks at multiple levels.
Communicate project issues and status concisely and accurately for senior leadership consumption, escalating blocking issues when appropriate.
Work closely with leadership to allocate resources to projects and recommend solutions to ensure sufficient resource availability; provide reliable estimates of resource allocations required for project success.
Measure program and project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, charts, and dashboards.
Train, coach, and mentor team about methodologies, delivery processes, and best practices, thus supporting consistent delivery improvement.
Foster a culture of accountability, drive, positive team dynamics, and cross-functional collaboration.
