As we rapidly build new products and services, expand the way players can interact, and embrace content creators, we directly increase the risk that someone will share objectionable content on our platform and cause harm to others. Therefore, it is imperative that we develop a robust content moderation platform to ensure that we can quickly and effectively remove offensive and illegal content.
Client is an American video game and software developer and publisher who is dedicated to maintaining a safe and fun environment for the players, customers, and the general public. EPAM worked with the client to develop a platform where moderators can identify violations in user-generated content and prevent inappropriate content from entering the clients' ecosystem. We started with the client’s prototype version and evolve the solution, starting with requirements gathering and platform architecture to UI/UX design, development, testing, and deployment to production.
Development of event-driven system with 1M+ requests per day.
Close collaboration with the engineers on the client side;
Operational monitoring of the production environment (8/5);
Dealing with the system that has ~1M requests on average per day.
Skills and experience required from a candidate:
Middle+/Senior software engineer with experience in GO;
Familiar with AWS stack, Docker and Kubernetes, Redis, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon DocumentDB (MongoDB), Amazon SNS, and SQS.
Has some experience in ElasticSearch or ready to deep dive into it quickly;
English level – B1
