Middle/Senior React Engineer for Layer0 XDN platform (USA) (offline) $4500-6500

Layer0 powers an Experience Delivery Network (XDN) that currently powers mobile web, responsive, web, app, and voice experiences for ⅓ of Americans each month and is trusted by some of the largest brands in the country including United Airlines, Harley Davidson, Nordstrom, 1800Flowers, four of the top seven US insurance brands, and a number of the top 50 banks. In the last two years, we’ve expanded our product from a niche mobile web add-on tool to a full-fledged XDN presentation layer and are experiencing a resurgence of growth.

The role
As a Mid/Senior Engineer, you will work in the multi national distributed team of skilled frontend/full-stack engineers with overseeing of multiple dedicated architects. One of the core requirements (alongside good communication skills) is an excellent knowledge of React (+ Context API), Next.js, and Typescript.

What you will do
● Develop and support multiple features for one of the largest e-commerce brands in US
● Website performance metrics improvement
● Work with our react-storefront ( https://github.com/storefront-foundation/react-storefront) and Layer0 (https://www.layer0.co) technologies
● Collaborate with the teammates, Product Manager and client to discover and validate technical problems
● Suggest better solutions that can balance between long term ambitions and near term goals
● 3rd party widget integrations (PayPal, Bazaarvoice, Klarna, GiftNow, Tangible)

Preferred Skills:
● Solid level experience with React.js/Next.js
● Solid level experience with RESTful APIs
● Experience with mobile web development
● Experience with CI/CD tools
● Experience with version control software, eg Github / Gitlab / Bitbucket
● Experience with JSS, SASS, LESS or other CSS preprocessors.
● Familiarity with HTTP and network requests

Will be a plus:
● Experience with Jotai
● Experience with Salesforce Commerce Platform, Amplience CMS
● Experience with analytics (e.g. Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager)
● Experience with website performance measurement tools (e.g. Webpagetest/SpeedCurve/Page Speed Insights, etc)
● Experience with integration of PayPal, Bazaarvoice, Klarna, GiftNow, Tangible
