Middle/Senior Java Developer (offline)

The main goal of the product is to facilitate the network connection security management using fast and convenient setup process, intuitive interface, and graphic reports for tracking the current system status.

Why It Is Important
Most next-generation firewalls (NGFWs) focus heavily on enabling application control, but little on their threat defense capabilities. To compensate, some NGFWs will try to supplement their first-generation intrusion prevention with a series of non-integrated add-on products. However, this approach does little to protect business against the risks posed by sophisticated attackers and advanced malware. Further, once you do get infected, they offer no assistance in scoping the infection, containing it, and remediating quickly.
What business needs is an integrated, threat-centric next-generation firewall. One that not only delivers granular application control, but also provides effective security against the threats posed by sophisticated and evasive malware attacks.
Our product is the industry’s first fully integrated, threat-focused NGFW. It delivers comprehensive, unified policy management of firewall functions, application control, threat prevention, and advanced malware protection from the network to the endpoint.

What You’ll Do
— Develop software for the company working in the internet security sphere.
— Provide functional problem solving assistance to a rapidly growing customer audience.
— Carry out the cycle of introducing new functionality, including the presentation of changes to the API, implementation and control of adoption, supervising the integration with the UI, approval of a quality assurance plan, automated testing.
— Design new features of the products and improve the existing ones.
— Collaborate closely with other developers and the customer.

Knowledge and Skills Required
— 3+ years of experience in Java development.
— Java 8, Spring (Core, Data), Guava.
— Knowledge of the basics of Neo4j, SQL.
— At least Intermediate level of written and spoken English.

Would Be a Plus
— Knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript.
— Knowledge of computer networking.
