Middle QA Automation Engineer, Content Platform (offline)

About the vacancy

Our client is included in the top 10 American websites that offer expert content on the Internet. The portal contains 3.5 million articles written by 1000 authors. DataArt’s team is currently working with the client’s internal system. The goal is to scale it while maintaining the ability to work with large sets of data along with a convenient user experience.

DataArt’s engineers are partners of the site’s development and SEO teams and work closely with data scientists and the editorial board.

Must have
- 3+ years of automated testing experience
- Skills of working with automation tools (Selenium)
- Knowledge and skills in programming (OOP, JavaScript)
- Experience with UI testing and automation tools for mobile platforms and Cypress.IO
- Experience with GraphQL, RestAPI
- Experience with unit and integration tests development using Java/Kotlin
- Knowledge of test types and ways to organize them in the testing of various kinds of applications
- Good spoken English

Would be a plus
- Making test documentation (test plans, test cases, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of databases and skills with RDBMS (one of the following: MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience of working and integrating with CI (TeamCity, Jenkins)
- Ability to learn and master new technologies
