Java Technical Lead (offline)

The product is a platform that helps companies manage, retain, and grow their existing customer base, build relationships with them, and proactively manage success throughout the customer lifecycle.

Requirements:
* 6+ years experience in Java Development
* Experience in a Team Lead or Tech Lead role
* Expertise data processing within a Java environment in a highly transactional model (vs a traditional batch ETL process)
* Deep knowledge of relational database design and SQL
* Experience with messaging: RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, or similar
* Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices
* Experience with AWS
* Familiarity with Tableau, Looker, or similar BI software would be a huge plus
* Familiarity with data warehouse design
* Intermediate+ level of English
* Process-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to translate business requests into development tasks

Responsibilities:
* Leadership in strategic planning efforts by proactively identifying opportunities to deliver value to the organization
* Understanding of the business needs and provide technical solutions accordingly
* Collaborate with senior management regarding all technical decisions and improvements to ensure alignment about engineering challenges and opportunities
* Build and design the architecture from scratch into scalable and durable systems
* Focus on clean code, code reviews, and best practices
* Design and implement a new data warehouse
* Propose 3rd party platform for internal/in-app reporting
