Data Engineer (offline)

Now, as we grow fast and smart, Avenga is looking for a Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis.
The project's goal is to improve the quality of different clients' departments interaction with the SalesForce by getting rid of old SF Classic-based functionality and unify varied data definitions, solutions, and processes within the organization. These goals will be achieved by:
Redesign of the existing system to meet the latest Lightning design standards;
Migrate two SalesForce orgs into one to unify employees' experience (Here's where the help is required);
The project will grant a shared understanding and standard representation of data across B2B channels, and the platform upgrades with significantly improved user interface and experience.


Skills and requirements:

At least 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer;
At least 1-year experience in NiFi development;
Expertise with various ETL technologies and familiarity with ETL tools;
Knowledge of orchestrating workloads on the cloud;
Understanding of HTTP protocol (method/response codes), REST/RESTful web services, SOAP (optional);
Understanding of JSON or XML;
Strong technical experience in large distributed systems, Data Warehousing, Data Lake at scale;
Expertise in Design, development, and deploy production-ready algorithms at scale;
Knowledge of one or more scripting languages, Python preferable;
Great communication skills, both verbal and written;
Intermediate strong or higher level of English.


Responsibilities:
Develop a data migration pipeline;
Create the mapping for required objects with all necessary fields;
Create NiFi jobs;
Test NiFi jobs in the client's SIT environment;

Nice to have:
Experience with migration data into Salesforce
Experience with NoSQL and streaming platforms, e.g., Kafka, MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j, is a plus.
