QA Engineer. Remote position. English – Upper-intermediate.

Our principles

2. Production code that we decided is going to stay with us, must be safeguarded by unit and integration tests, pass static analysis, go through a gradual deployment process and be automatically monitored for business KPIs. Quality is king.

1. We require thousands of servers across multiple data centers to serve our traffic.
2. > 10k Kubernetes pods.
3. Many dozens of services and data stores are accessed for each served request. We have a Netflix style micro services architecture where all pieces must fit together to deliver on performance and correctness.


As a QA engineer, you will create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases as well as execute manual tests such as: regression, integration and functionality.
You will be working closely with R&D, MIS (Information Systems), Solution Architect, Business and Finance stakeholders, data infra, and more.

Responsibilities:
● Review system requirements and define test plans
● Test and maintain processes that affect both customer-facing applications and integrations with back-office systems (Billing, CRM, ERP, HR, and more)
● Detect, document and classify defects/bugs
● Work closely with project managers and understand project requirements and constraints
Requirement
● At least 2 years of experience in composing complex software test plans, managing large QA integration projects, executing manual tests & reporting/delivering problems
● Knowledge of QA processes and test methodologies
● Strong technical skills - identifying bugs and solving complex problems
● Able to work independently, self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
● Able to handle multi-tasking
● Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
● Experience with writing SQL queries
● Experience using Bug tracking systems such as JIRA, and composing clear and repeatable defects.
● Knowledge of billing processes- advantage
● Experience with Testim.io/Selenium
