Software Engineer (PHP, JS, AWS) (offline)

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will give you endless opportunities to take on new responsibilities, learn new skills, and mentor others. Your teammates will be distributed between NYC, DC, Ohio, Poland, Ukraine, and Chennai.

• Design, code, and test software that makes you proud
• Build a deep understanding of our current infrastructure and help us find ways to make it better
• Partner with other developers to help find solutions for technical problems they are facing
• Advocate for agile engineering practices and DevOps mindset that will help raise the bar for our software

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Experience of developing projects at least 6 years
• There are multiple languages you enjoy working in including PHP, JS (preferably Laravel and Vue)
• You enjoy getting involved in DevOps activities and are comfortable in AWS (Lambda, SQS, Apigateway)
• Software craftsmanship and Agile proponent that embraces Test Driven Development
• You are not satisfied unless quality is at the forefront of your team’s work, clean code is important to you
• Modern approaches to software development and deployment, such as Containerization and Lambdas, excites you
• Good written and spoken English

WILL BE A PLUS
• Experience of working with Python
• Experience of working with SNS and Eventbridge
• Experience of working with financial apps
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science
