Marketing and Product Content Editor (Native Speaker) (offline) $3200-4000

Introduction
We’re looking for an experienced editor to make our content look and sound phenomenal.
You will help make content engaging for our audiences in NAKIVO’s tone and voice. You will polish and edit all marketing content to make sure that our messages meet the readers’ expectations and, ultimately, drive traffic and customer action.

Responsibilities:
● Re-structure, edit and proofread marketing content produced by non-native English copywriters.
● Maintain/Review internal style guide
● Check texts for organization, technical accuracy, and style.
● Work with other content team members, product managers, and designers to make sure content is accurate, appropriate, and engaging.
● Work with marketing department managers to ensure that the content meets marketing objectives.
● Continue to learn about the latest developments in writing and editing and any relevant technologies.

Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in journalism, English, or related fields
● A minimum of 3 years editing content using a style guide
● A good grasp of plain language concepts and of writing for an international audience
● Understanding of SEO concepts and how readers find and use the content on the web
● Demonstrated ability to make writing about complex technologies simple and clear

Desired Qualifications:
● Experience with virtualization and related technologies
● Experience with cloud computing
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly across multiple audiences
● Ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities
● A proactive attitude and a focus on delivering results
● A good grasp of AP Style and CMOS, usage, grammar, and punctuation
● Exceptional attention to detail and flexibility
