Middle Python Developer (offline)

WE ARE
The Technology team at SoftServe works to make US Healthcare simpler by building scalable and sustainable applications, infrastructure, and interfaces. For our Client – a leading healthcare and insurance provider, we will perform a large Python codebase migration project from 2x to 3x. The project objective is to migrate internally and externally facing products and applications with a massive impact on our Client and their users and partners. Those include applications that support interaction with the US government, exchanges, healthcare provider networks, brokers, insurance companies, and much more. The next step in the roadmap would be the feature development of sophisticated applications.

YOU ARE
A candidate with the following experience:

3+ years as a Python Engineer
Expert knowledge of Python and related frameworks
Understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL
AWS
Understanding of front-end technologies like React
Ability to architect creative and maintainable applications across our web and mobile clients
Kafka and RPC frameworks like gRPC is a plus point
Demonstrating fluent English communication skills (at least Intermediate English level)

YOU WANT TO WORK WITH
Participating in all aspects of the software life cycle, including analysis, components design, development, unit testing, CI/CD, and production deployment
Backlog analysis, estimation, feature decomposition
Coding in Python, React.JS
Databases, GCP, and other related technologies
Contributing to the software solution, which creates value for the end-clients
Cross-functional and distributed teams
Communicating and collaborating with internal and client teams
Becoming the expert on your team's business and technical domains
Leading the planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects
Partners, product managers, and designers to solve challenging problems
Other engineers on the team to improve technology and apply best practices
Implementing step-wise technical migrations of our Client’s existing applications
Expanding the team by attracting, onboarding, and coaching new/Junior engineers
