Senior QA Engineer (offline)

Responsibilities:
• Develop Test Strategy (scope, test approach, necessary test levels / test types, test configurations, etc.)
• Prepare estimates for Test Scope and share with stakeholders
• Identify and escalate Risks to Project stakeholders
• Analyze and validate requirements (specifications, acceptance criteria, etc.)
• Work with Product Owner on requirements clarification
• Supplement specifications / stories with missing / implicit requirements (if needed)
• Create Test Documentation (test design, test scenarios, test cases, GUI checklists, etc.)
• Perform Peer Review of QA artifacts
• Perform Functional / non-Functional testing of product increments (Web/Desktop/Mobile)
• Perform Black-box & Grey-box testing
• Perform Back-end testing of APIs, Web Services
• Prepare Test Summary report and share with stakeholders
• Analyze product performance characteristics (analytics)
• Mentor Junior QA Engineers
• Manage and select QA tools & best practices
• Contribute to QMO Office
• Perform Automated Functional testing (would be a plus)


Requirements:
• Four-year working experience in testing web/mobile applications (at least)
• Deep understanding of SDLC and STLC process in different Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
• Excellent knowledge of Fundamental Test Process and QA Responsibilities
• Strong practical experience with Requirements analysis / clarification / generation and visualization (graphs, diagrams, tables, mind-maps)
• Practical experience in RM/BA work (would be a plus)
• Strong experience in test scope estimation (WBS, PERT, % Distribution)
• Deep understanding of Web / API / Mobile testing specifics and bug taxonomies
• Knowledge of Release Management and Continuous Delivery concepts
• Knowledge of Configuration Management on the project
• Strong practical experience in the usage of Test Design Techniques
• Strong experience in black and grey-box testing
• Understanding of Client-Server architecture and networking concepts
• Knowledge of Technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, DOM
• Knowledge of database data structures, types and relationships
• Strong practical experience in test approaches: specification-based, experience-based, defect-based, risk-based, context-based, etc.
• Strong experience with MSSQL / other RDBMS system, databases and SQL scripting
• Excellent usage of test / project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Rally, TestRail, Zephyr)
• Strong skills in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, OneNote, Visio, etc.), prototyping tools (i.e. Balsamique)
• Awareness of UI/UX guidelines for Web and Mobile applications
• Experience in usage of automation tools (Selenium Web Driver, Ghost Inspector, etc.) (would be a plus)
• Experience in developing automation scripts (would be a plus)
• Experience in Mentoring junior staff
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Result orientation and responsibility for own work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrate the ability to help team members, strong organizational skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science (or similar technical field)
• Level of English: Upper-intermediate
