Data Engineer (offline)

You are going to build an online analytics platform providing insights and data for world's largest brands and media platforms.
The platform ingests billions of events \ tens of TBs per day and makes them available for consumption through an intuitive and highly performant UI.
You will experiment with new and cutting-edge technologies designed for large scale, distributed systems, BigData and AdTech solutions.

Responsibilities:
Architect, design and build a big data online analytic platform processing tens of TBs/Day, serves thousands of clients and supports advanced analytic workloads;
Design and implement tables, views and stored procedures in Snowflake data warehouse to transform, materialize and store data;
Organize data and tune queries for optimal performance;
Implement data loading into Snowflake data warehouse with Snowpipe;
Build Object Oriented or Functional Programming, scalable and high quality code;
Constantly review code, look for design breaches, provide meaningful and relevant feedback to developers, stay up-to-date with system changes;
Create automated unit tests for regression testing;
Create automated monitors for immediately identifying failures in the production environment;
Analyze system behavior to identify bottlenecks, perform performance tuning and advice on performance optimization opportunities;
Collaborate with multiple cross-disciplinary teams and provide technical leadership, guidance and coaching to engineers through brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and pair-programming;
Promote and enforce standards of CI/CD, quality, monitoring, security, modifiability, extensibility and maintainability of data processing software.

Required Skills:
SQL, Kafka, Python or Java, Beam, Spark, Kubernetes, Microservices, Serverless;
Agile, Scrum, Pair programming, TDD, Extreme programming, KIS.

Desired Skills:
BigQuery, Redshift, Vertica experience could be useful if Snowflake is not present.
