Senior DevOps Engineer (offline)

You will be responsible for service delivery, reliability, scalability, monitoring, and helping define all of this as immutable infrastructure-as-code. We are working on containerizing our services and deploying them with .

Our technology stack is built in Java running on MSSQL database.

Migration of the current infrastructure to Kubernetes from scratch.

EXPECTED SKILLS

∙ 3+ years professional experience in DevOps or Systems Engineering working in high-traffic environments
∙ Strong experience with automation tooling (Terraform, Ansible)
∙ Strong experience with ontainers and orchestration (Docker, Compose, Kubernetes, Helm)
∙ Strong experience with service discovery tooling (Consul)
∙ Strong experience with various managed and self-hosted CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitlabCI) as well as cloud CI/CD tooling (GitHub)
∙ Strong experience with log centralisation tooling (ELK, Fluentd)
∙ Strong experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
∙ Experience with databases (MSSQL, Postgresql)
∙ Strong experience deploying microservice architecture, applications, and supporting services
∙ Strong knowledge writing scripts and programs in BASH, Python, Ruby
∙ Knowledge of networking concepts and TCP/IP, DNS, TCPDUMP, CDNS, SSL, Git, Firewalls and networking concepts (VPNs, subnetting)
∙ Strong interpersonal and communication skills

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

● Establish, maintain and evolve concepts in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for existing and new services.
● Collaborate with development teams to improve automation of workflows, infrastructure, code testing and deployment.
● Remain up-to-date on industry trends, security vulnerabilities, share knowledge among teams and abide by industry best practices for configuration management and automation.
