Team in GlobalLogic is providing a full cycle of R&D services to the customer. The main responsibility is the bring-up of the newest versions of the Android OS on customer-specific hardware, including system requirements analysis, new features development, and bug-fixing, system integration, and validation

Requirements

Good knowledge and experience in Linux drivers development
Experience in Linux kernel development and debugging kernel-related issues
Experience in development for ARM-based platforms
Experience in working with and creation of the software development documentation
Intermediate+ spoken and writing English
Preferences

Embedded, Yocto, Android, Device Drivers – kernel space

Responsibilities

Participate in a vendor-specific platform bring-up.
Contribute to the BSP development
Contribute to the debugging and bug-fixing of the Kernel-related issues.
Contribute to the development and bug-fixing of the Linux drivers. Adding new features
Profiling performance issues
Experience in Yocto Project
