Client follows Agile philosophy, doesn't do scrum or kanban; sticks to agile values, has retrospective meetings.

As of today they are 5 people in the engineering team: 1 Ruby Senior, 1 Ruby Junior; 2 Front end Junior and Senior; and CTO himself.

The client is looking for a talented, pragmatic and passionate personality for their interdisciplinary team of software developers, marketing and sales professionals and construction experts in Hamburg. The client’s way of working is independent and solution-oriented. The company uses agile development methods such as TDD and code reviews, but doesn't have rigid sprints or time-consuming meetings. Agile values ​​and having fun at work are more important to them than a rigid process.

Responsibilities are as follows:

- Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
- Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
- Identifying web-based user interactions.
- Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components using React concepts.
- Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following React.js workflows.
- Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
- Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
- Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
-Documenting application changes and developing updates.

Required skills:

- Strong skills in React (3+years)
- Strong GraphQL knowledge and hands-on experience
- Experience with Node.Js (nice to have)
- Good knowledge in any popular CSS framework such as Bootstrap, Tailwind or Material
- Experience with automation, ability to write unit and end-to-end tests
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field
- Previous experience working as a React.js Developer
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages
Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux
- Experience with user interface design
- Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest
- Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good project management skills
