Engineering Manager (offline)

Requirements:

— Advanced computer science knowledge;
— Excellent understanding of project planning and management;
— Remarkable technical experience as a lead developer using PHP tech stack (we use Laravel);
— Experience with frontend (we use Vue.js);
— Experience designing an AWS infrastructure (or using other cloud services);
— Strong understanding of the product management, mapping business goals to current tasks;
— Experience creating requirements after an interview with clients (sketches, use cases or descriptions);
— B2 English level (Upper-intermediate).

Nice to have’s:

— Interviewing, hiring and firing experience;
— Experience designing microservice architecture;
— Experience using SCRUM;
— Experience with Balsamiq, Draw.io or other prototyping tools;
— JIRA or other project-management tools.

Responsibilities:

— Communicate with the client, analyze their goals and translate that into the clear requirements in Confluence or other wiki systems;
— Estimate projects, create and maintain work schedule;
— Design solution architecture together with a tech lead or other colleagues;
— Evaluate and design key software components;
— Review the code of all the critical components;
— Set up teamwork to ensure high-quality deliverables;
— Ensure project delivery within the scope, time and budget constraints;
— Regular project reporting for us and the client.

It is a HIPAA-secure care management platform that makes it easy for payers, providers, and patients to coordinate comprehensive prenatal and postpartum healthcare from anywhere.
