Senior Full-stack Typescript / NodeJS developer (offline) $5000-6000

Project information:

- A lot was done last year, a big project in general and still continues;
- Launched in the UK and several other countries, and have rollout plans for this year, including new features, etc.;
- The team is in London and Helsinki.

Responsibilities are as follows:

- Deliver new user-facing features and stabilize/enhance that already exist.
- Write clean and well-structured code, perform code reviews
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Suggest high-quality solutions that respond to business needs
- Collaborate with team members to improve the product
- Do minimal testing

It will be closer to be 50% Typescript back end and 50% React front or a bit towards React front end.

Required skills:

Must have

- Experience working with Shopify and/or Big Commerce and/or other ecommerce solutions and/or integrations
- Fluency in TypeScript (4+ years’ experience)
- Experience with ReactJS (2+ years’ experience)
- Experience with Node, Express backend (3+ years’ experience)
- Understanding of Azure services, especially Function Apps
- Soft skills
- Curiosity for new
- Good ability to communicate in English (both written and spoken)

Good/Nice to have

- Experience working with headless CMS, eg. Contentful
- Experience working with Docker containers
- Understanding of how Webpack works and ability to optimize
- Ability to optimize service reliability, performance and security

Interview process

1st call interview with the client, and 2nd call with their developer to talk about the code, and with an online live test (up to 1-hour total).
