Data Scientist (Product Startup, Equity) (offline)

Required skills

* M.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent fields.
* Strong English verbal and written communication.
* 4+ years of experience with a proven record in the AI and data analytics domain
* Solid programming experience in Python.
* Experience in developing machine learning models and applying advanced analytics solutions to solve complex business problems.
* Strong knowledge in NLP, Recommendation System domains
* Experience deploying and maintaining ML solutions in production.
* Hands-on experience in conceptual modeling, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and hypothesis testing.
* Experience working with large-scale unstructured and structured data sets and databases.

As a plus

+ PhD. in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics with specialization in AI/machine learning/deep learning
+ Experience with Amazon AI offerings, including custom modeling on SageMaker.
+ Experience in graph data modeling

Responsibilities

The Data Science Team plays a critical role in Shelf’s future development and direction. This Teamwork directly with the executive leadership team and is responsible for designing and implementing strategic R&D initiatives, using Natural Language Processing, Machine learning, Deep learning, Artificial Intelligence, Conceptual modeling, Statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and Hypothesis testing.
