DevOps (offline)

Responsibilities
• Optimizing the company’s cloud-based computing architecture
• Building software releases and testing new code
• Automating the development, testing, and integration of software releases/fixes
• Ensuring compatibility across Windows, Linux, and iOS systems
• Collaborating with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features
• Releasing new features and ensuring stability of such releases
• Monitoring the product’s health and security once the updates are deployed
• Analyzing code and communicating detailed reviews to development teams to ensure marked improvement in applications and the timely completion of projects
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection; protecting the company’s information over the cloud. Security adoption into the development process.
• Establishing an environment to release more reliable secure applications faster
• All relevant documentation and reporting

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or related field
• Cloud DevOps Engineer certifications
• Proven work experience in software development
• At least 3 years of DevOps or related experience preferably in cloud-based setups
• Hands-on experience in containerization & Kubernetes
• Certificates: CERTIFIED DEVSECOPS ENGINEER(CDSOE), Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) or any equal certification

Proficiencies
• Skilled in using Source Control, Containerization, CI/CD and Team Management tools/services
• Good technical knowledge of network and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Virtualization, etc.)
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience working with logistics and transportation solutions is a plus
• Results-focused, quality-oriented and hands-on
• Ability to promote and generate cooperation among stakeholders by practicing clear, efficient, and energizing engagement
• Strong ability to identify issues, obstacles and opportunities and then develop and implement effective solutions through creativity, innovation, and analytical thinking

Please note: certifications are not critical, but related security job experience (like Infosec) is important.
