Senior Java developer (offline)

Speech about the project:
We are looking for an employee for the external project. The customer is a Canadian company that provides water management solutions for Canada and Australia. The working process between company and client can be described in this way: company installs sensors on the water resources of the two countries – Canada and Australia and the sensors are read information about the purity of the water using the data. This information is really important for the clients of this project: construction companies, government enterprises, research laboratories - any organization
that needs information about water quality specifications in their work processes.

Responsibilities:
• Perform architectural and object-oriented design, review, and implementation of production-quality features and tests;
• Participate in effort and complexity estimation for new/proposed product features and tasks;
• Continuous research to keep up with new technologies and best practices;
• Assist in effectively diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with the product.

Requirements:
• Real experience (at least 4 years) building and maintaining large, enterprise, and/or SaaS applications;
• Java and JVM based application development;
• AngularJS based application development;
• Agile and Test Driven Development;
• Cloud computing environments (preferably AWS) and continuous cloud delivery;
• Eclipse, Jenkins, Maven and related development and build automation tools;
• Design and development with structured and unstructured data storage technologies;
• Experience building, deploying, and managing applications on Amazon’s cloud (i.e.AWS);
• Experience with msSQL and PostgreSQL;
• English - advanced
