Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for self-motivated software quality assurance professional with experience in Android native mobile applications testing. We develop the front-end (native Android and iOS applications) for own modern online banking. We use native Java with Android SDK and back-end based on java micro services in Docker and Integration Bus for interaction with Core banking. We use native languages: Swift, Objective-C for iOS and back-end based on java micro services in Docker and Integration Bus for interaction with Core banking.

Requirements/experience:
• 2+ years of experience with native Android and iOS mobile applications testing (experience with both Android and iOS mobile platforms will be a plus)
• Strong testing technical ability across multiple platforms (SQL, Web, Service and Mobile)
• Understanding of client-server architecture
Understanding of: XML/JSON, HTTP, HTML, CSS
• Familiar with continuous integration (Jenkins) and source control systems such as GIT/SVN
Working experience with Android Studio/Xcode
• Experience producing key test assets (requirements gathering, test plans, test reports)
• Understanding of SDLC process (Agile/Scrum)
• Perfect knowledge of test design techniques
• Perfect knowledge of different testing methods, techniques and types
• Be familiar with test management tools (TestRail/JIRA)
Understanding of: XML/JSON, HTTP, HTML, CSS
• Practical experience of API testing (PostMan/JMeter)
Good SQL knowledge
• Strong sense of self-motivation, organization and strong analytical skills
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Would be a plus:
• Performance testing experience
• Experience with Selenium/Appium/XCUITest
Java/Kotlin/Swift coding experience
• Experience of testing of ETL applications
Responsibilities:

• Test Plan Creation/Review/Update using Test Techniques and/or Test templates where relevant
• Create manual test cases for cross-functional project with well-balanced coverage across UI (mobile applications), backend integration and database.
• Execute test cases (Mobile App + REST API + DWH)
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Analysts, Developers and other QA team members as required on acceptance criteria that need to be tested
• Be familiar with new technologies and share them with the team
• Mentoring/Coaching ability
