DevOps Engineer #9394 (offline)

Our client is a US company that operates as a financial lender of installment loans for consumers to use at the point of sale to finance a purchase and helps people to get consumer credits in transparent and friendly way. Engineering organization is focused on creating robust, modern micro-services applications implemented in Python and Kotlin.
This Infrastructure team is building a framework for other teams, so they could add their microservices to pipelines running on AWS/Kubernetes/Docker environment. Besides that, the team is working on own Python microservices for local needs.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work on migration existing services to a newer approach based on Docker/Kubernetes
Establish and implement the best practices of centralized logging and monitoring
Work closely with Engineering teams
Work in close contact with team members and project stakeholders on the client’s site
Ensure uptime and high availability of infrastructure services
Reduce key operational performance indicators

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
MUST HAVE:
3+ years in DevOps/System administration
1+ years of experience with AWS
Commercial experience with Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ
Distributed system knowledge
Scripting experience (Python is preferable)
Hands-on experience of working with production environments with zero tolerance to any errors
Experience in Agile development environments
Sufficient English level for communication (verbal & written)

WOULD BE A PLUS:
Terraform knowledge
